If you're perhaps interested in being mentored by ME 😊, please know that this makes me absolutely shivery with joy (and nerves). I know what it's like to be writing without much more than hope. I know how much it meant to me when people I respected gave me their time and wisdom.
My skills are as an encourager. I am good at helping you see what you are really brilliant at and I am a cheerleader with terrible moves and genuine enthusiasm. I don't pretend to be a great editor or a seer who can promise you publication but I know what has worked for me, I know the market and I know how it feels to be new. I will share with you everything I have, without promising you that I have everything!
I am offering: a submission package/partial for those writing for a YA market. I am open to Fantasy, Contemporary, Thriller, Mystery, Dystopian, Paranormal and Magical Realism. I love creepy worlds, great characters and lyrical writing. I am always interested in an intriguing or unusual concepts. On my list of favourites are: 'The Call' by Peadar Ó GuilÃn, 'The Accident Season' by Moïra Fowley Doyle and (shhh, I know it's MG) I love the Nevermoor series by Jessica Townsend.
